The birth and progression of cinema is strictly connected to art movements.

Focusing on a peculiar use of shapes, comparing mo­vies and video-art, I collected plenty of clips. Some of the selected ones are by famous film director such Hitchcock, Burroughs, Godard, Lye, Vertov..; others are art (master)pieces by Duchamp, Moholy-Nagy, Manet, etc.
Eventually, I’ve created a footage video showing recurring visual “topoi” in both the fields.
