2018 – 2019
Collaboration with Ca’ Foscari University
I followed the research and ideation part of the sensory panels for the renovation of Briaglia playground, making it inclusive, thus studying together with students from the Faculty of Language Sciences of the Ca’Foscari University of Venice.
The small city of Briaglia won a call to renovate its outdoor area for children, addressing the need to create an area accessible to both able-bodied children and those with disabilities and motor, cognitive and other deficits.
That’s why, alongside new inclusive permanent games, we decided to create some braille panels. They’re dedicated to educate about the surrounding site-specific nature, seasons and the braille alphabet.
The amazing location enhances the engagement in playing togethers, learning as children a new inclusive way to communicate.
